All right. That thing is gorgeous. Wow. No mortise! I'm glad it's coming. Fantastic guitar to date. Thanks for the pics John K., we all appreciate the look at the guitar. Brock, is it possible to UPDATE the OLF GUITAR PROJECT page with this thread and images? Just wondering? |

Gorgeous! Brock I don't think the rosette is too large at all. I must have joined this forum too late to be a part of this, but I'd love to be a part of the next one when it happens! |

OK here is a shot of the rosette. I think it is very attractive and not at all out of proportion. The neck is just too ugly at this stage to photograph. ![]() |

[QUOTE=CarltonM] I predict strong demand to add Mr. How's body style into the OLF Library of Plans! ![]() It looks great! I like the body shape a lot, elegant proportions, what are the dimensions? |

Actually if memory serves me the neck mortis is already there. Probably covered by the sides |

John's right. the Neck moritse is there. There were notes written all over it to be careful when routing the binding channels. I don't remember there being a mortise block for the FB extension. John K., were you under the impression that you were doing a double neck mortise? |
Author: | John Kinnaird [ Fri Feb 03, 2006 1:21 am ] |

I was under that impression. I do believe there is a block in there. I don't mind not doing that but I was also under the impression that Lance was in favor of a completely unboltable neck. Either way, its all fine with me. John |

I hope you are right and I'm wrong. It's been so long since I've seen it that I honestly can't remember. But you might might want to check to make sure there's a plate before you hit it with a router. ![]() |
